Yoga as Therapy: ASANAS

WORKSHOP WITH KARTA PURKH SINGH

Yoga is often understood by it’s postures or Asanas. While this refers mostly to the outer appearance the whole inner structure and understanding of Asana is often neglected or remains hidden.

In this workshop we will explore the benefits of building up Asana from the core, making it both more effective and more beneficial on all levels. This includes the approach to adjustments of challenging exercises or making them more accessible for people with special needs.

This workshop is suitable for beginners as well as experienced practitioners or teachers.

Karta Purkh Singh has been practicing Yoga, Pranayama and Ayurveda since 1991. He is a KRI certified specialized trainer in the area of Anatomy, Asana, Posture and Kundalini techniques. He runs a practice for Yoga Therapy in Germany as a certified alternative practitioner since 1998 and use the art of breathing and asana in the context of yogic therapy as a natural health professional. Karta Purkh Singh is a Level 1 and Level 2 Kundaliniyoga certified teacher with over 25 years of experience. He also is the CEO of the Kundalini Yoga Teacher association (3HO) in Germany.
